Dhikala is one of the most-visited safari zones in the Corbett tiger reserve; thanks to the view, it offers, of both the wildlife and the ethereal surroundings. It is located about 50 km deep into the national park, at the border of Patli Dun Valley. From here multiple channels of Ramganga converge into a reservoir. An exceptionally idyllic location, the zone also has expansive grasslands called Phulaichaur and Dhikalachaur.
Dhikala, an old forest rest house, also holds historical significance. Once you are done enjoying the wildlife spotting activity, you can also explore Sambhar road, watchtower, reservoir, and other things located nearby. Overall, you will spend about four hours at Dhikala, and you can go for either a bus safari or an elephant safari. The safari timings are fixed and depend upon which season it is that you are visiting the national park. For winters, the timings are from 7 am to 10 am in the mornings and 2 pm to 5:30 pm in the evenings. During summers, you can enjoy the safari from 6 am to 9:30 am and 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
